Trellick Tower book

An artist book inspired by the Trellick Tower in London. This 31-floor building was produced in a rough brutalist style which was expressed in the material used for the cover: sand paper. Its low budget is reflected in the raw and minimalist manner of the designs and their dull colours. The titles springs from the many accounts of crime, prostitution, and drug-dealing, linked to this place, while the quotes from films and novels create a mood that arouses our curiosity for the 'Secrets of Trellick Tower'.

Woody Allen booklet

The brief was to create a booklet based on a film director of choice. I chose Woody Allen and his three movies - Vicky Christina Barcelona, Zelig and Match Point. For the cover design's text I drew inspiration from Woody’s iconic and fluorescent colours that represent his vivid style. I created vector illustrations which I then silkscreened onto tracing paper and combined with fluorescent pink writing underneath. I hand bound the booklet using an eyelets technique that I learnt from YouTube tutorials. The reader will find a brief description of each movie.
